Position Summary:

STS Capital Partners is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded, dynamic, experienced marketing and sales professional to support the planning and execution of the firm’s marketing and sales initiatives. This role will suit a highly organized and motivated individual who has the ability and confidence to work independently and also excels working as part of a team; in addition to having the flexibility to adapt to shifting project priorities in our client-focused and deadline-oriented environment. This role, supporting our global team, is home-based.

Role description:

  • Leads business development efforts and energizes and inspires world-class marketing activities that are measured in effectiveness.
  • Responsible for the planning and implementation of both short- & long-term strategic goals that will lead to the achievement of organizational sales and marketing objectives .
  • Oversees development of Advisor channel engagement strategy including recruitment, activation/training, reward & retention and its continual improvement.
  • Leads brand refresh project and facilitates buy-in across STS stakeholders and manages consistency across regions .
  • Oversees and verifies reporting of sales and marketing activities, including leads generated and tracking reports, pipeline activity, conversions, etc. and uses these to hone a best-in-class lead generation and conversion machine.
  • Establishes and implements a sales force training plan for direct and indirect sales focused on developing and reinforcing critical sales competencies.
  • Inspires Sales Leaders to excel in client relationship settings and artfully demonstrates how to connect Advisors to clients to generate referrals.
  • Provides strategic direction on marketing with respect to maximizing pipeline and conversion of high-quality mandates events, symposiums, memberships, indirect channels, strategic alliances.
  • Inspires Sales Leaders to excel in client relationship settings and artfully demonstrates how to connect Advisors to clients to generate referrals.
  • Conceptualizes, builds and markets an STS value-add Global Network to support Advisor engagement.
  • Oversees creation of a wide range of promotional and engagement materials including email content, social media postings, talk tracks, videos, infographics, and web content.
  • Develops and trains team on talk tracks, positioning, and message development.
  • Brand steward/ambassador and manages external vendor relationships/projects.
  • Develops marketing/branding for new product /service development.
  • Continuous analysis of competitive environment and trends.
  • Supports recruitment messaging to set us apart to attracting top talent to join the STS team globally.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Lead generation, nurturing, and conversion expertise across multi channels.
  • Experience in designing indirect sales campaigns and developing network of indirect channels.
  • 10+ years experience in business development/marketing B2B.
  • Lives and dies by their CRM .
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills and known as a strong writer and clear communicator.
  • Strategic thinker yet can ‘roll up sleeves’ and get into the tactical.
  • Connects the dots – balances the macro and the micro honours the past and envisions the future
  • Relentlessly measures – ROI, team outputs, campaign / event effectiveness.
