Roberto Interiano - Partner
 


Roberto Interiano is a Partner at STS Capital Partners and Managing Partner of STS Latin America. Roberto has extensive Latin American and international transaction experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and structuring of equity and long-term debt financing.

Previous to STS, Roberto was the Regional Partner at Ernst and Young, leading M&A and Corporate Finance in Central America. He also developed extensive emerging market experience with the International Finance Corporation (IFC, private sector arm of the World Bank) during most of the 1990s, structuring and leading debt and equity investments in Brazil, Argentina, Hungary, Central America and China. He also served as Board Member 1999-2005 at CTE, a leading telecom company in Central America (with America Movil / Grupo Slim); and has experience in structuring private equity funds focused in Latin America and renewable energy.

His finance and emerging market experience is complemented by leadership and large scale management roles as Vice-Minister / Under-Secretary of State in El Salvador; and more recently as senior executive with Dell Computers, where he led the growth and best practice initiatives to help expand call centers servicing the US and US Hispanic market segments.

Roberto has a MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management / Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, and completed the Executive Program in Strategy and Organization at Stanford University.

Roberto is based in Miami.
