Luis Rio y Llarena - Partner

Luis is fluent in Spanish, English and French and is a key asset to STS Capital Partners for transactions in Latin America. During his career Luis has provided professional services to companies doing mergers and acquisitions in the aviation and telecommunications industries as well as trade financing and corporate law. A member of the International Bar Association, Luis has participated as a speaker and moderator on different panels and conferences on telecommunications and mergers and acquisitions law in Europe and Mexico.

Luis obtained his law degree from the Universidad Anahuac, Mexico City. He has attended postgraduate studies in Corporate Law and completed the LLM Program in M&A Telecommunication Law at the Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City.

Luis has been involved with/led numerous strategic transactions in Latin America.
